RIAA teaching children

This week I read an article about the RIAA and their attempts to change the thought of children on creative content and how it should be released. I think after a lot of what I have read about the RIAA and their tactics in counteracting piracy they are going at it all completely wrong, and this article, i think, only furthers this point. They are attempting to scare, and steer the future to their own favor by ignoring people wanting to give their content for free to others. They are still so stuck in the previous model of sales of content that they are only causing themselves damage with these attempts, and they have changed their curriculum which is good. It comes off as less scary and threatening, but still seems to carry a heavy weight that it doesn’t need to.
